Expired: Logitech POP ICON Combo — Previously $41.98

Offer expired. Rechecked October 8, 2026 at 1:50 a.m. PDT: the new Graphite & White combo is now $69.99, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The $41.98 offer and savings comparisons below are historical.

Graphite and white compact Logitech POP ICON keyboard with matching mouse
A compact Bluetooth keyboard and matching mouse with quiet keys, quiet clicks and shortcuts you can customize. Your desk does not need to sound like a typing competition.

At the originally observed $41.98, the Logitech POP ICON Combo is a sensible upgrade for a small home office, a shared workspace or a laptop that spends most of its life pretending to be a desktop.

The original discount had useful context. At our October 7 check, Logitech listed this exact Graphite & White bundle at $69.99. Independent price tracking recorded $59.99 in September and $52.49 in June for the same Amazon listing. The $41.98 price was about 30% below that September offer, rather than merely looking impressive beside a crossed-out list price.

The low-profile keyboard has four customizable Action Keys, while the mouse adds quiet clicks and a scroll wheel for navigating long documents. Bluetooth pairing supports switching among up to three devices, useful when work moves between a computer and a tablet. Customization requires Logitech’s software on a supported Windows or Mac computer; basic typing and pointing work on other compatible platforms.

The trade-off is the compact layout. There is no separate number pad, so spreadsheet-heavy work may call for a larger keyboard. This is also a small everyday mouse, not a substitute for a full-size ergonomic design. Check Bluetooth compatibility before ordering.

Included replaceable batteries keep charging cables out of the equation. Logitech rates keyboard life at up to three years and mouse life at up to two, depending on use. Buy it for a quieter, tidier everyday setup. It will not answer your email, which remains an unfortunate gap in the specification.

EXPIRED OFFER · ORIGINALLY POSTED OCTOBER 6, 2026

Historical seller update — October 6, 2026, 5:30 p.m. PDT: The featured seller has changed during today’s checks. We reconfirmed a new $169 offer sold and shipped by Amazon.com. That earlier observation is preserved for reference.

Expired: Bose QuietComfort Headphones — Previously $169

Offer expired. Rechecked October 7, 2026 at 10:45 a.m. PDT: no new $169 offer was available in the checked buying options. The lowest displayed offers began at $189.99 used. The $169 price and retailer comparisons below are historical.

Black Bose QuietComfort over-ear headphones with padded headband and ear cushions
Wireless over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation, adjustable sound and a wired listening option. For when the room has opinions you did not request.

At the $169 price observed on October 6, the Bose QuietComfort Headphones were a useful purchase for commuters, frequent flyers and people trying to concentrate within earshot of everyone else’s productivity.

The price has credible context beyond a large crossed-out number. Published coverage recorded $179 in July 2026 and $169 during November 2025’s holiday sales. At our October 6 check, Amazon returned to that holiday price and Best Buy matched it for the same black model. Those observations explain the original recommendation; they are not current savings claims.

Quiet mode reduces surrounding noise; Aware mode lets more of it through when you need to hear an announcement or order coffee. The app offers bass, midrange and treble adjustments, and multipoint Bluetooth lets you move between connected devices. Plush cushions and a padded band are useful features when your listening session outlasts your enthusiasm for the flight.

The catch is the generation. This is the older 2023 model, not the newer second-generation version. Bose rates battery life at up to 24 hours, so heavy daily use still means regular charging. The included audio cable provides a wired option, even with a depleted battery, but do not expect powered noise cancellation from an empty battery.

Buy for comfortable everyday listening and fewer distractions. Skip it if your current headphones already do that job, or if the newest model’s features matter more than the lower price.

VERITY DEAL PICK · OCTOBER 5, 2026

Expired: Alexa Voice Remote Pro — Previously $19.99

Offer expired. Rechecked October 8, 2026 at 12:50 a.m. PDT: the new remote is now $34.99, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The $19.99 price and savings comparisons below are historical.

Black Alexa Voice Remote Pro with navigation, volume and shortcut buttons
A replacement remote for compatible Fire TV devices, with backlit buttons, two customizable shortcuts and a finder that makes it ring. The sofa has held it hostage long enough.

At the originally observed $19.99, the Alexa Voice Remote Pro is a sensible upgrade for someone who already owns a compatible Fire TV and spends too much of movie night excavating cushions.

The original discount had a useful comparison: the exact-model tracker recorded $24.99 sale prices in August and September, making the $19.99 offer about 20% lower than those sales. Best Buy matched $19.99 at our October 5 check. That was a shared offer with credible price context, not an exclusive discovery requiring a celebratory spreadsheet.

The practical attractions are the motion-activated backlight and remote finder. Use a compatible Alexa device, the Alexa app or Fire TV app to make the remote ring. Two customizable buttons provide shortcuts to favorite apps or Alexa commands, while a dedicated headphone button opens the Bluetooth pairing menu. Small conveniences, admittedly, but ones you can use every evening.

Compatibility is the catch. This is a remote, not a streaming stick, and it will not upgrade an ordinary television into a Fire TV. It excludes first-generation Fire TV Sticks, first- and second-generation Fire TVs, Echo Show 15 and certain Fire TV television models. Check Amazon’s compatibility list against your exact device before ordering.

Buy it for an existing setup that needs easier controls. If your current remote works perfectly and never disappears, congratulations on running a more disciplined household than most.

Historical offer — checked October 5, 2026 at 12:56 a.m. PDT. Black remote, ASIN B09RX4HKTD; new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com at $19.99. Give the Garden Path a Night Shift: Ring Solar Pathlight for $27.99

Black Ring Solar Pathlight with its ground stake
A single solar-powered, motion-activated pathlight with up to 80 lumens of white light. A little assistance for the walk home from the bins.

Your garden path should not require a phone torch and a working knowledge of every loose stone. At $27.99, the Ring Solar Pathlight in black is a useful addition to a sunny walkway, particularly if you already have compatible smart-home equipment.

The saving has evidence behind it: tracking for this exact ASIN records a drop from $34.99 to $27.99 on September 29, roughly 20%. Ring’s own store currently matches $27.99. This is a shared sale with a documented price change, rather than an Amazon-exclusive bargain.

The light detects motion and produces up to 80 lumens, with a rechargeable battery replenished by its solar panel. It stakes into soft ground, so adding a little illumination does not require planning a trench. Buy it for paths and edges; this is not a floodlight for illuminating the entire garden.

The catch deserves daylight: the panel needs direct sunlight, and the smart controls depend on Amazon Sidewalk coverage or a compatible hub. Ring lists its Bridge and other supported devices; this single-light purchase does not include a hub. Check compatibility before buying, especially if this would be your first device in the system. A shaded corner and an optimistic attitude are not a charging plan.

Expired: Marshall Emberton III — Previously $99.99

Offer expired. Rechecked October 7, 2026 at 8:44 p.m. PDT: the new Black/Silver offer is now $138, sold by Choice Electronics(Serial Numbers Recorded) and shipped by Amazon. The original $99.99 offer and savings comparisons below are historical.

Marshall Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker in Black and Silver
A compact Bluetooth speaker with an IP67 rating, built-in microphone and a claimed 32-plus hours of battery life. The miniature amp look does not require a band.

Your phone speaker has done enough unpaid overtime. At the originally observed $99.99, the Marshall Emberton III in Black/Silver is a worthwhile upgrade for a desk, weekend bag or a little music outside.

The original price had context: tracking for this exact variant recorded a drop from $144 to $99.99 on October 1, about 31%. It also recorded $99.99 in June, so this was a returning sale. At the October 3 check, Marshall’s own store matched $99.99 and Best Buy showed $129.99 for Black/Brass, a different color; choose this finish because you like it, not because every version costs the same.

The useful parts are straightforward: Bluetooth playback, a microphone for hands-free calls and an IP67 dust-and-water-resistance rating. Marshall rates battery life at 32-plus hours; actual runtime depends on use. That is the manufacturer’s claim, not a weekend we personally spent timing it.

Buy it if you want a compact speaker you can move between rooms and take along. The catch is that compact does not mean featherweight: it weighs about 1.5 pounds, and this color does not include a carrying strap. A bag is sensible. Asking a jacket pocket to become road crew is less so.

Historical offer — checked October 3, 2026 at 1:21 a.m. PDT. ASIN B0GXH3N61Z; new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com at $99.99. Free standard delivery shown; timing varies by address. Expired: Amazon Echo Show 8 — Previously $124.99

Offer expired. Rechecked October 8, 2026 at 12:50 a.m. PDT: the new Glacier White model is now $199.99, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The $124.99 price and retailer comparisons below are historical.

Amazon Echo Show 8 smart display in Glacier White
An 8.7-inch touchscreen, speaker and smart-home hub in one countertop device. Somewhere for the calendar to live besides beneath a takeaway menu.

At the originally observed $124.99, the Amazon Echo Show 8 makes sense for a household already using Alexa: see recipes, check compatible camera feeds, manage lights and make video calls without repeatedly rescuing your phone from the kitchen counter.

This is the 2025 model in Glacier White, with the larger 8.7-inch display and built-in smart-home hub. The speaker handles music while the screen gives calendars and shopping lists somewhere visible to sit. It cannot persuade anyone else to read them. There are limits.

The original price was worth a look because it returned to the roughly $125 summer sale level documented in deal coverage. Best Buy matched $124.99 for this exact color and model at our October 2 check. That made it a shared sale, with useful price history behind it, rather than a bargain inferred solely from Amazon’s crossed-out price.

The drawback: there is no physical camera shutter. Camera and microphone controls are available, but anyone who wants a sliding cover should choose accordingly. The screen also brings recommendations into your home; minimalists may prefer a simpler speaker.

Original Alexa is included. Alexa+ requires Prime or a separate paid plan; streaming services may also require subscriptions. Buy for the everyday display and controls you will use, rather than imagined membership-free extras.

Historical offer — checked October 2, 2026 at 8:21 p.m. PDT. ASIN B0DC93K4NW; new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com at $124.99. Free standard delivery shown; timing varies by address. Expired: DEWALT DW2166 45-Piece Set — Previously $9.98

Offer expired. Rechecked October 7, 2026 at 2:41 p.m. PDT: the new item is now $14.99, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The $9.98 offer and savings comparisons below are historical.

DEWALT DW2166 screwdriver bits arranged in their open yellow and black ToughCase
A 45-piece screwdriving set in a compact, connectable case. A small upgrade for the drawer currently operating as a metal archaeological site.

The correct bit is usually somewhere nearby. Unfortunately, “somewhere” is not a storage system. At the originally observed $9.98, the DEWALT DW2166 puts a useful assortment of screwdriving bits in one case with a clear lid, so you can see what you have before emptying everything onto the floor.

The original price had substance behind it: an August 2026 deal recorded this same set at $14.99. The $9.98 offer was $5.01 less, roughly 33% below that earlier sale. Home Depot also showed $9.98 when checked on October 1, so this was a shared sale, not an Amazon-exclusive miracle.

I like it for occasional household fixes, assembling furniture and replenishing a basic tool drawer. The removable bit bars let you organize the contents, and the case connects to compatible storage. Returning each bit afterward remains a human responsibility. Technology has limits.

The catch: 45 pieces does not mean 45 different screw types; the set includes duplicates and different lengths. Check the pictured selection against your jobs. This is a screwdriving accessory set, not a drill or a collection of hole-making drill bits.

Historical offer — checked October 1, 2026 at 4:57 p.m. PDT. ASIN B002JWSNIS; new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com at $9.98. EXPIRED OFFER · ORIGINALLY POSTED SEPTEMBER 30, 2026

Expired: Ninja Luxe Café Pro ES701 — Previously $599.95

Offer expired. Rechecked October 5, 2026 at 5:57 a.m. PDT: Amazon now lists the new stainless steel model at $749.95, sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The $599.95 offer below is historical and is no longer available at the checked price.

Stainless steel Ninja Luxe Café Pro ES701 espresso machine with built-in grinder, tamper and milk jug
Espresso, drip coffee, rapid cold brew and hot water, with a grinder, built-in scale, lever tamper and automatic milk frothing. Your household can now disagree about coffee more efficiently.

Someone wants a cappuccino. Someone wants iced coffee. Someone says “just coffee,” which somehow requires the longest explanation. At the $599.95 price observed on September 30, the Ninja Luxe Café Pro ES701 gives that committee one machine to argue over.

The appeal is how much equipment comes built in: a 25-setting burr grinder, weight-based dosing, a lever-operated tamper and automatic milk frothing. Grind recommendations help beginners find their footing. You still move the portafilter and pull the tamping lever; it has not agreed to become your butler.

Historical price context: June deal records placed this model around $599–$600, and September coverage documented its return to that level. At our September 30 check, the manufacturer listed $599.99 and Amazon listed $599.95. Those comparisons explain the original recommendation; they are not current savings claims.

The original recommendation was for a household that actually uses espresso, milk drinks and iced coffee. If you mostly want a pot of black coffee, keep several hundred dollars and buy a simpler brewer.

The catch: this is still a hands-on machine. Empty the coffee puck, rinse the milk jug and keep up with the drip tray and descaling. The US limited warranty is one year; long-term durability is not something a shiny front panel proves. Convenience is included. A cleaning staff is not.

Original observation — September 30, 2026 at 2:00 a.m. PDT. Stainless steel version, ASIN B0F5JFTR1Q; new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.com at $599.95. Your Hedge Has Had Enough Freedom: Greenworks 40V Pole Saw & Hedge Trimmer Kit for $149.99

Greenworks PSPH40B210 pole saw and hedge trimmer kit with 2.0Ah battery and charger
An 8-inch pole saw and 20-inch hedge-trimmer attachment, with one 40V 2.0Ah battery and charger. Two overgrown chores, one complete kit.

Your hedge has been expanding its territory. At the updated observed price of $149.99, the Greenworks PSPH40B210 gives you a fairly persuasive counterargument.

The value is in the complete package: a pole saw for pruning branches, a pivoting hedge-trimmer head for shaping taller hedges, and the battery and charger to run them. No discovering that the attractive price bought you everything except electricity.

The price has improved: Amazon now shows $149.99, down $9.99 from the $159.98 we observed when this entry was published. Published tracking records earlier 2026 offers around $175–$179.99. At our September 29 check, the manufacturer also listed $159.98; that comparison is historical. The new lower Amazon price was verified on October 5, without relying on a crossed-out list price or claiming a lowest-ever record.

Buy it if you need both attachments for routine garden upkeep, especially if you already use this brand’s 40V battery system. The catch: the included 2.0Ah battery is a modest starting point for longer sessions, and an extended cutting head still puts weight out in front of you. Your shoulders have not signed up for a forestry career.

The saw needs bar-and-chain oil and normal chain care. Budget for the oil separately. A rechargeable battery has many virtues; abolishing friction is not one of them.
